NHS Prices

"This is the best dental practice I have been to. Highly efficient and effective systems in place ensure I always get appointments with the dentist and hygienist on time. I think that the information about prices and what the NHS can and cannot provide is good. I've always been satisfied with the treatment I've had and dentists have always been charming and reassuring."

As seen on Google Reviews

NHS Dentist chooses to be an entirely NHS practice. By this we mean that we do not register private patients on principle. All clinically necessary treatment will be offered to patients on the NHS.

The Government increases prices annually. A written estimate/treatment plan will be provided before treatment commences (at your initial consultation). Treatment plans may change.

At NHS Dentist we do not charge for missed appointments or late cancellations for NHS work, if you fail to cancel an appointment without 24 hours notice TWICE (8 working hours notice so you would be expected to cancel a Monday early morning appointment by Friday lunchtime) we may no longer be able to treat you.

These are treatments considered clinically unnecessary by the Government

If you wish to have them they will have to be provided by us to you on a non-NHS basis at the current prices, which are subject to change without notice. Once a course of treatment has commenced, we will not raise the prices as long as the course of treatment is completed within three months. A full estimate and treatment plan will be given to you in writing before treatment commences – after your initial consultation.

Treatment plans may vary as treatment continues. In these cases new estimates will be provided in writing to the patient and you will be informed by the dentist of the alterations. This may be whilst you are in the surgery and in the middle of treatment so it will be impossible to provide you with a new written estimate before the treatment is performed. In this case the dentist will tell you the additional cost, gain your consent to continue and make a note on your clinical treatment records. If you are unsure of anything at any time, please ask your dentist, nurse or reception for more information. It is important to us that you understand your treatment and the charges.

Please note: you may be charged £50- £150 deposit for non-NHS dental appointments, the full amount of the deposit will be charged in case of a same day cancellation or missed appointment.
